J. Harrison Kemp is an artist and writer interminably residing in a diminishing neighbourhood in Toronto’s dualistic West End.
His early education in the arts bordered on feral and continued through a self-imposed and intensive exile of erudition. Now he spends much of his time trying to do justice to the myriad characters and worlds that have taken shape in his imagination and even now violently contend to move from mind to materialization.
Jay is currently the sole inhabitant of Tenkara Studios, a.k.a. the office and is busy with a variety of commissions, short stories, incidental projects and a soon to be realized anthology of horror fiction.
His recently published novel, In the Palace of Ordeal & Death, is a masterpiece of modern horror and suspense set in Canada.

In addition to being a founding member of WPaD and contributing numerous stories to our anthologies, Jay is responsible for the artwork on several of our covers, and hopefully many future ones:
Jay has also created book covers for some of WPaD's members. A fine example of his artwork can be found on the covers of L.A. Guettler's Red Darkling books:
