Lea Anne Guettler
is a freelance technical writer by trade but a creative writer at heart. She handwrote her first “novel” at age 7, the adventures of two princesses (Justine and Justinea) in a magical forest populated by unicorns and talking rabbits. Thirtysome years later, her NSFW short prose and poetry was included in Wicked Women in Words’ anthology Run Over by . . . an Omnibus.
Lea Anne is currently at the literary mercy of Red, a beer drinking, cigar smoking, man-groping space babe. Red first appeared in the sci-fi/fairy tale mashup anthology Circuits & Slippers.
She continues to kick ass and take names in both of Lea Anne’s Strange Adventures in a Deviant Universe contributions, “Bonk” and “Rescue.” Red is joined by Woodman, Bonk, and a host of galactic odds and ends in the novel Red Darkling, Lea Anne's first non-princess based novel. The popularity of Red Darkling with readers inevitably led to the sequel, Bonkopalypse, A Red Darkling Jam, a tale filled with more of the snark, action and hilarity readers came to love in the first book.
Lea Anne is a valued contributor to many of our WPaD anthologies. You can find her stories in:
~ Strange Adventures in a Deviant Universe
~ Weirder Tales: An Omnibus of Odd Ditties
~ Creepies 3: Nightmares on Deviant Street
~ Tinsel Tales 2: Holiday Hootenanny
~ Goin' Extinct Too: Apocalypse A Go-Go
~ Deviant Shadows: Tales of the ParAbnormal
and, we hope, many more books to come.
Lea Anne has a husband, two kids, three cats, a couple of chickens, and a 107-year-old house with an indeterminate number of spirits. When she isn’t agonizing over the keyboard or raising hell on Facebook, she enjoys crocheting, baking, sudoku, and other ludicrously domestic pursuits. She even made her own butter once. She likes pizza (deep dish Chicago style, please, thank you) and her favorite flavor of La Croix is peach/pear. She hopes you are all taking notes, as there will be a quiz on Monday.
